Neem: Potential Anticancer Functionality
March 20, 2012
Kavitha et al, report in the European journal of pharmacology that nimbolide, a neem (Azadirachta indica) component, is a promising candidate for future anti-cancer regimens.
The research centred on the effect of nimbolide on NF-κB signaling and apoptosis in human hepatocarcinoma (liver cancer) cells.
Their results demonstrate that nimbolide can induce apoptosis in Liver cancer cells.
