Green Tea and Anti-Cancer Properties

Green Tea is an effective anticancer therapy that seems to work successfully in synergy with conventional drugs. Fujiki et al suggest that Green Tea is now an acknowledged cancer preventive in Japan.
The authors of this paper state that colorectal adenomas and prostate cancer in humans have been prevented and they review the idea that the combination of anticancer drugs with green tea catechin synergistically induces apoptosis of human cancer cells, inhibits tumor and enhances inhibition of tumor growth.
The combination of anticancer drugs with green tea could be a new cancer therapeutic strategy.

Green tea has a number of great health benefits. Not only for losing weight and increasing the metabolism, but it really works as something that can benefit illnesses as well. Great post.
