Due to several factors, but mostly obesity, the incidences of type 2 diabetes has risen sharply in the last few years. It is estimated that around 7 million people in the USA do not know they might have diabetes and have a condition known as prediabetes. Prediabetes is a condition where blood sugar levels are higher than normal but not yet high enough to be classified as type 2 diabetes. Prediabetes typically progresses to type 2 within about 10 years. Key Ingredients that could help blood-sugar levels
The mineral chromium and the antioxidant alpha-lipoic acid are well-researched nutrients for healthy insulin function. Vitamin D, biotin and the minerals magnesium and vanadium are other ingredients which look like they work. These types of ingredients are being included and marketed specifically to this sector in various products. Green tea is also now being included in this group and herbs and spices are following quickly.
