Green tea and Vitamin D

Protective actions of green tea polyphenols and a vitamin D source on bone microstructure in female rats with chronic inflammation was investigated (abstract can be found: here). The results showed improvement in bone micro-architecture and quality along with the down-regulation of  TNF-alpha expression which backs up the anti-inflammatory role of green tea polyphenols.
