Green tea and Gastric Cancer:

Helicobacter infection, is one of the most common bacterial infections in man worldwide.  It is a type 1 carcinogen and the most important risk factor for gastric cancer.  Components found in green tea have been shown to inhibit bacterial growth, including the growth of Helicobacter. It is suggested that components within natural remedies such as green tea could be further used for prevention and treatment of Helicobacter-induced gastritis in humans.

El té verde y el cáncer gástrico:

Una de las infecciones bacterianas más comunes es la provocada por la Helicobacter, un carcinogénico de Tipo 1 y el principal factor de riesgo para desarrollar un cáncer gástrico. Se ha demostrado que existen componentes del té verde capaces de inhibir el crecimiento bacterial, incluída la Helicobacter. Se cree que componentes encontrados en algunos remedios naturales como el té verde podrían usarse extensivamente en la prevención y tratamiento de la gastritis por Helicobacter en humanos.
