Notes on Garlic

Recent studies have demonstrated that diallyl sulphide (DAS), a component of garlic and a well known Ayurvedic ingredient, has neuroprotective effects against ischemia/reperfusion injury. It has also been implicated in possible mechanisms to inhibit apoptosis.
