Endurance training and green tea are well documented on their positive effects on fat metabolism.
In this research article Ichinose, et al tested the theory that endurance training supplemented with green tea extracts could together accelerate fat utilization during exercise (cycling), compared with training alone, in humans.
Results suggest that ingestion of Green Tea Extracts in combination with exercise, was beneficial to increase the proportion of whole-body fat utilization during exercise.
