Ginger compound – [6]-Gingerol – Improves Insulin Signaling.

Chakraborty et al, in an animal model study,  suggest that [6]-gingerol – a component of GINGER, possesses an anti-hyperglycemic property and can improve impaired insulin signaling.

Anti-hyperglycemic: A substance or therapy that counteracts high levels of glucose in the blood.

This suggests that Ginger can not only control blood glucose levels but may also improve signaling when it has somehow damaged or impaired (e.g. in chronic conditions like diabetes etc).
