Ginger and sugar control

February 11, 2012

The results of a recent study (animal model) indicate that dietary ginger has hypoglycaemic effect (lowers blood glucose), enhances insulin synthesis and has high antioxidant activity.

One of the likely mechanisms is the action of malonydealdehyde, which acts as a scavenger of oxygen radicals.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) may be another weapon in the armory to control Diabetes mellitus and Insulin resistance.

Ginger is a key ingredient in InnOrbit products.
