Dietary intake of polyphenols may reduce risk of hypertension in elderly subjects (May 2011 issue of the journal Nutrition, Metabolism, and Cardiovascular Diseases)

Investigators in several Spanish universities found that higher urinary counts of polyphenols were associated with greatly reduced cardiovascular risks.

La ingesta de polifenoles puede reducir el riesgo de hipertensión en pacientes (mayo de 2011 de la revista Nutrition, Metabolism, and Cardiovascular Diseases).

Los investigadores de varias universidades españolas descubrieron que el aumento de los niveles en orina de polifenoles se asociaron con gran una reducción de los riesgos cardiovasculares.
