Green tea – Theanine helps Genes

A study by Attia provides evidence that theanine has a protective role in the reduction of induced genomic damage in the bone marrow cells (animal model).

Compounds in Green Tea like theanine, an amino acid found in green tea, can bring about positive changes to both body and mind.

The researchers suggest that Theanine modulates the cellular antioxidant levels and can consequently protect bone marrow from genotoxicity.
