Caralluma fimbriata and Weight Management: Key ingredient of SLIM&FIT

Caralluma fimbriata is a succulent plant in the family Apocynaceae. It has been eaten in rural India for centuries.

They concluded that key components – pregnane glycosides have appetite-suppressant properties and has opened the possibility of developing an anti-obesity/appetite-suppressant products. The main objective of this review was to evaluate studies undertaken on the plant in light of further research for anti-obesity drugs and nutraceuticals from Caralluma.
