Dr. Domenico Pratico (Temple University, USA) has shown in various research studies that oxidative damage in the brain precedes amyloid plaques in Alzheimer’s that ultimately destroy brain cells. Amyloid deposits can accumulate at many different sites in the body or can remain localised to one particular organ or tissue, causing a range of different diseases.
