Green Tea: Cholesterol Metabolism

July 14, 2012

HIRSOVA et al, in the European journal of pharmacology (Jul 9, 2012), studied the Green Tea catechin (EGCG) and its ability to affect cholesterol metabolism in the liver.

They conclude that Green Tea catechins change the expression of relevant enzymes and transporters of CHOLESTEROL suggesting evidence of another mechanism that may contribute to the overall effect of EGCG on cholesterol metabolism.

Green Tea is used in the 100% natural drink SLIM&FIT, along with several other herbs & spices, which are effective for weight management.
