Ginger & Amla: Effective Arthritis treatment

In a 6-month controlled study of knee osteoarthritis, Ayurvedic formulations containing, amongst other herbs, Zingiber officinale (Ginger) & Emblica officinalis (Amla), significantly reduced knee pain and improved knee function and were equivalent to glucosamine and celecoxib.  Another study has also shown that ginger-supplemented diet might reduce Osteoarthritis symptoms.
